A Family Tradition
Mediterranean Kitchen’s story began in 1981 when my father and his brother immigrated from Lebanon to Seattle, bringing with them authentic Lebanese recipes, warm hospitality, and a lifelong passion for food.
Together, they opened Seattle’s first Lebanese restaurant, Lebanon Restaurant, before expanding to several beloved Mediterranean restaurants across the city, including Byblos Restaurant, Kamalco’s, and Mediterranean Kitchen.
As the years passed, the family tradition continued through the next generation, preserving the same authentic flavors, generous portions, and welcoming atmosphere that built our reputation from the beginning.
Today, Mediterranean Kitchen in Kirkland proudly remains family-owned and operated, serving the community with the same traditions and recipes that started it all over 45 years ago.

More than a restaurant
Mediterranean Kitchen was built on the belief that great food brings people together. Every recipe, every meal, and every guest experience reflects the traditions we grew up with around our family table.
From fresh grilled meats and homemade sauces to classic Lebanese favorites prepared with care, we continue to honor the recipes and values passed down through generations.
For us, this is not just food — it is family, culture, and tradition shared with our community every single day.
